Tep Diji is a Multidisciplinary artist from Jackson, Ms (Jacktown) where he was born and raised in the heart of poverty supported by a Pan African/Afrocentric visual, musical, poetic and performative art family and community where he participated in select activities. He has used his upbringing to pursue the arts in the form of Traditional Art, Digital Media with a focus in Cinema, Music Production and Hip-Hop. His rhythmic and technical approach has shaped many movements within the culture and his relentless energy can be felt through his music and lyrics. As an alternative Hip-Hop artist, Tep Diji's subject matter focuses on gritty subject matter ranging from inequalities to imperative freedoms to philosophy to abstract constructs. Be sure to stay tuned, for Diji's art does not stand still and is ever changing in many aspects of genre and relativity.
